We had another good turnout for Quiz 175, there were (eventually) 35 Quizzers making up ten teams and taking the Cash Prize on offer up to a nice wad of £77.

There were four Teams involved right up until the Sports Round when Will Got A First and Rascal Ferrets On Vibes forged ahead. There was one point between them going into the final Film & TV Round and guess what, they managed to tie so it was yet another Dart Off!

Jay from Rascal Ferrets On Vibes triumphed in the Dart Off and then drew the Beers, so it means the whole pot is a rollover for Quiz 176 and we could be playing for £110 plus with another good turnout.

The Quiz starts at 9.00pm with a Picture Round* (The clue this week is "Nationally they come in several varieties including truss, beam and tied arch"). Following the Pics we then have four themed rounds of General Knowledge, Music, Sport and Film and TV with a five minute break for the free snacks and topping up drinks after round two.

The winners of the nights Quiz choose from three envelopes that contain either the cash prize, food vouchers or a case of drinks. If the cash isn't drawn it rolls over to the next weeks Quiz, the biggest cash prize to date is £317 won by Hand Over The Cash Michaela 25/03/13 in Quiz 63.

After the Quiz we have a Wild Card Question which anyone in the bar can join in for a quid (or if you want two goes it's £2, three £3 etc). It's one obscure question where we are looking for a number or date and the nearest to the actual answer gets the whole pot of money taken on the night. We had another canny £33 Cash Prize for the Quiz 175 Wild Card and there was only one person close. Scouse from our regular team The Laaaads was that man and he was made up with the cash (as you can tell from the picture below!). The biggest Wild Card Winner to date is Alistair who scooped a massive £58 in Quiz 172.

Scouse was made up with his £33 Wild Card, not a bad return for a quid.

Come on down and join us for The Colly Quiz, it's always an entertaining night out and as Scouse can confirm you can win some decent cash too.
